TRAINING COURSE

Electronic Fisherman has designed a unique, informative, & interactive on the water training class. Danny trains you in your boat on your Humminbird, Minn Kota, & Lakemaster equipment (Helix, Solix, Apex, Mega Live, Mega 360, Target Lock, IPilot/Link, Quest, etc).  Danny can customize your class based on your needs. The class can be as basic or advanced as needed to fit your level of understanding & experience. 

Prerequisites for the class:  

State required safety equipment for your boat (PFD's for all on board, fire extinguishers, adequate boat fuel, batteries fully charged, etc). All Sonar/Trolling Motor equipment must be properly installed, working, & up-to-date software.

Training Class Overview:  

4 hour class - Beeswax Boat Launch on Lay Lake in Columbiana, AL (willing to travel for additional fees). 

You will receive 1 Advanced Training Manual ($75 value) & 1 hat ($25 value). 


Pre-Launch equipment evaluation - Understanding transducers, GPS, powering equipment, external sensors, etc. 

Launch & deep dive into the functions of the external keys & internal menu systems of your depth finder unit. 

Explain processes of setting up 2D, DI, & SI - what changes what & why. (I do not teach set it & forget it #'s when dialing in sonar. Water/light conditions change throughout the day, even on the same body of water.) 

Scanning techniques & helping you better understand & define what's seen on the graph. (Rocks, brush pile, grass, hard/soft bottom, baitfish, fish, etc.) 

Finding targets of interest - This portion of the class will allow you to put into practice what you've been taught & review/clarify your areas of weakness. You will have the opportunity to scan & adjust your equipment to find & identify my predetermined locations of targets of interest. 

The remainder of the class will be to cover areas of your specific training needs. (Understanding SI, what fish look like, Mega Live, Mega 360, Vertical fishing, understanding lake topography, etc.)
